Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
These cookies have it all: crispy edges, chewy centers, and plenty of chocolate!
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
- Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl
- Beat butter and both sugars until creamy
- Add eggs and vanilla, beat well
- Gradually stir in flour mixture
- Fold in chocolate chips
- Drop rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets
- Bake 9-11 minutes or until golden brown
- Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to wire rack
Makes about 5 dozen cookies. Perfect with a cold glass of milk!
